XNPlay: An Up-to-Date Guide to Xbox 360 Community Games

Published by shawns at 4:11 pm under Culture, Microsoft, News Edit This

I established pretty quickly on Today in Games that I’m a big supporter of the Xbox 360’s Community Games channel. Letting individuals and homebrew developers release games directly to a console and make a profit is the most humanitarian thing a game company has ever done in my opinion.

The only problem is that the games are released at seemingly random intervals and with no mention of most of them in the Spotlight channel on the Dashboard. I’ll still be bringing you my thoughts and updates on many of these games but the guys over at XNPlay have made it their mission to actively cover the ever-changing Channel.

And it’s not just a simple listing of what’s new, these guys offer their well written take on each game, call out its price, and even throw in a few screenshots and videos. It’ll definitely help me decide which games I’m interested in without even having to turn on my Xbox. Check ‘em out .
